  We enjoyed Christy Ann, particularly the location for view, quiet, and peace. The house was very clean with all amenities. Its a short drive to Cruz Bay and the north side beaches. We will certainly consider renting this home again on our next trip to St John.

  We spent 7 nights at Christy Ann. The villa was reasonably priced, had an awesome view, was immaculately clean, well equipped with everything we needed including full kitchen, gas grill, a safe, dvd players, washer/dryer, beach towels, chairs, mats, small cooler(but no mop, shampoo and coffee filters would have been wonderful!) Hot tub on fully furnished terrace was amazing! Greeter (Emily) was very nice and helpful. Received phone call next morning after check-in to see if all was well (Jillian). Great binder in villa full of information on activities, restuarants, maps, etc. Overall experience from booking to check out was 10 stars! Definitely recommend and hope we get to stay again!

  Christy Ann was spotless and spacious villa--we loved it. Three stone-tiled living levels (two bedrooms upstairs, one master bedroom on the main level) were connected by a spiral staircase-- which might pose a challenge for small children. The stainless steel kitchen and baths look brand new, and a washer/dryer was available downstairs. We enjoyed the huge master shower, which was lined with smooth stones and shells but no ceiling, so you will see clouds and feel the breeze as you shower. The view from Christy Ann's terrace was amazing-overlooking quiet Fish Bay and the surrounding hills-you won't get this view at any hotel on the island. It was heavenly to relax in the terrace lounge chairs and whirlpool after a hard day at the beach! TV stations are limited, so rent DVD's at Starfish Market, 5 minutes away. Cruz Bay (shopping, restaurants, bars) is a 10 minute drive away, but we preferred being in a quiet residential area. It's a 20 minute drive to the nearest north shore beaches, which were breathtaking (rent a Jeep). Christy Ann provided beach chairs, beach towels, small cooler, ice packs, umbrella and gas grill. For open-air dining I'd recommend the Caneel Bay Terrace for dinner buffet (on the beach with view of St. Thomas) and Miss Lucy's in Coral Bay (next to the water) for Sunday jazz brunch. Enjoy!!

  Overall, the Christy Ann was a good experience and the view was fabulous! For a future visit, though, we would like to see: a pool, more comfy lounging furniture outside and in, and a dampmop to help us keep floors clean during our stay. 10 days was too long given excessive humidity and far more biting bugs (on the beaches--not many at Christy Ann) than expected in April.

    Thank you so much for your feedback. It really matters to us that you took the time to respond. Yes, we agree that especially if you visit the beach during dusk, there are many sand flies...but we're glad to hear those did not bother you at the villa. We will definately convey your request for damp mop at the villa (there is a mop but it may have been placed in the housekeeper supply room) and more comfortable chairs outside. UPDATE: Additional cushions to provide that additional padding are in route. New Chaise Lounges were purchased in February and are far more comfortable than the old ones. Both broom & dustpn are available to guests. July 2010 Update: Those very comfy cushions have arrived along with great chaise loungers... The VIVA Team!

  This was our second visit to St. John and I am so glad we got to stay at Christy Ann. The home is comfortable, clean and well appointed. It is in a great area and has tremendous views. The property is well maintained and private, which is exactly what we were looking for. This is also our second time using VIVA Vacations and I would highly recommend them - truly helpful and very professional!

• This was our 2nd yr at this villa and had a great wk. The view and tradewinds are fantastic. We encountered lots of bugs on the trails, but not at out villa as the winds seem to keep them away. The floorplan worked out good for our family of 4.

  Very nice house for 2 people, much larger than any other 1 bedroom I have seen. The two loft bedrooms are not much more than finished attic space without nearby bathroom.
  Very quiet, private, nice view but very windy location. Not sure if wind is always a problem, but we had trouble sitting outside more often than not. It was not a warm breeze, it was a cold wind.
  Wonderful hot tub, large, new, comfortable with easy open top. Deck is in shade all day, sun on lower level, move chaise lounges where you need them.
  
  Interior is very spacious with high ceiling great room, good kitchen, full dining area and lots of light. French doors have no screens but wind keeps mosquitoes away. Villa should have hi-def cable to go with nice flat screen TVs. Construction material still on the property and some landscaping would help the looks. Great parking area.
