    We lost electricity twice and each time the water remained off when the power came back on. We suggest providing instructions for priming the water pump so that maintenance doesn't have to come out each time. Also, we would suggest labeling the light switches. The TV in the master bedroom doesn't have cable, so therefore we weren't able to watch TV in that room. On the positive side, the pool, hot tub and surrounding areas were outstanding and the porches provided beautiful vistas with comfortable furniture for a relaxing respite. Sleeping at night was favorably facilitated by excellent room air conditioners. One of our favorite past times was watching and taking pictures of the iguanas in the trees.

      Thanks so much for taking the time to provide us with your feedback and for your understanding during the island-wide power outages that affected both St. John and St. Thomas during this week. Unfortunately, they can not be predicted and while the duration and frequency of this incident was was unique, its sad to say that power fluctuations are a natural occuance on-island. One of the policies in place to protect guests from possible injury involves not attempting to do any repairs while you're onsite. This is in place because we care about your safety and we prefer you to relax while you're on vacation. Still, we're delighted to hear that you still enjoyed the amenities at Calypso Del Sol.     The house was great and in very good condition. Swimming pool and hot tub a real added benefit. Only two minor concerns that are outside the control of the home owner. 1) Be prepared for early morning "wake up call" from the local rooster. 2) We were very careful about opening and closing doors promptly but still had some mosquito problems inside the house.

We will inform the property managers regarding the mosquitoes that came in-the doors offer screens but after heavy periods of rain, mosquito populations tend to increase.     We loved the location of this home but found that it could use a few things that might help. Ceiling fans on the upper porch would be extrememly helpful since it was always so hot there and not much of a breeze even after dark. Also, some of the posts around the home could use some painting. The kitchen and living area were a bit small but we managed pretty well. Overall a great home & we had a great time!

    All four of us totally enjoyed the layed back island time at St. John. Calypso del Sol was a secluded, easily accessible, and close to Cruz Bay! The pool and hot tub added to our relaxation! Hope to visit again soon!
