We have stayed here 4-5 times. Great location, overlooking ocean and close to Cruz Bay. Price is very reasonable. Service of rental agency outstanding. If you want a beautiful location to spend time at the beach and relax, consider BHR.

House was lovely, laid out with views from every room, large deck, lovely flowers. parking though is very tricky: you have to have a car since this is 10 minutes outside Cruz Bay, and more from the beaches, but parking on the short, cliff-side space was not easy. However, it was worth it overall, since the house was so lovely. The interior is also very nicely laid out, with maximal privacy for the bedrooms.

Wonderful location, breathtaking views, secluded, 10 mins away from shops and restaurants. Hot tub a plus for relaxing at night after spending the day exploring different coves, hiking and snorkeling. Fun driving on the winding roads and hills made challenging but driving on the left side of the road. We loved Blue Heaven and would highly recommend it for a relaxing vacation.

We just visit St. Johns for my daughter's wedding from 3/21/12- 3/28/12, and we were very happy @ Blue Heaven, the best part is the view of the property,also we enjoy the privacy that each BR offered with the own bathroom, was very clean and the people from Viva were very nice and helpful from the first second that I contacted the office to the moment we left,they answered all my questions and concerns,(special thanks to Audrey) We cant wait to go back to Blue Heaven !!

Overall property was as described on Viva website. Very basic, a little older with some nice, funky features. Totally enjoyed our stay, suited our needs very well . Only downside (for me only, as I am very fair skinned), is very little shade, or none, on the main deck. But the small area near the front door suited me fine. We had a great stay and I would not hesitate to recommend this villa or stay here myself next year.

I was travelling with a friend and my 9 yr old. On the positive side, the view was lovely, rooms were clean and the house was very well located. On the down side, the bedrooms were detached from the main house. Although all the doors locked, Had my husband been with me, we would have been reluctant to have our child stay in a room that separated from ours. The living room furniture was very uncomfortable...though we didn't use it that much. All in, the negatives are quibbles, we had a lovely time.

The Blue Heaven was a perfect place to celebrate 15 years of marriage. We enjoyed the vacation even with the cloudy days and rain. If there had to be one negative comment, it would be that I would like the entertainment system updated to include a way to hook up an iPod along with a couple of speakers outside. We still had a great time!!

This villa made us feel right at home-it is a basic house with the most amazing view ever! Things we loved: the iguanas lounging on the trees around the villa, the beautiful foliage (jasmine!), the little lizard that felt like his room was the living room, the variety of books available, the deck and breezeway between rooms and watching full moons and falling stars at night in the hot tub. Also, we put in a DVD and the player wasn't working--the management bought and installed a new one the next day--great service! What was not so hot: the quality of the TV and CD player (I know you aren't there to watch TV, but sometimes I wanted to at night and the old model didn't work well) and seeing an occasional large roach (I grew up in FL but my Kansas friend was scared!). It was kind of a bummer that the kids at the villa next door screamed in the morning and there was construction going on every morning/day at the villa below (kitchen burned down), but there's nothing the property can do about that. Just know that although you feel secluded, sound carries pretty easily on that hill. Even so, I still think it's a great place to stay and would be perfect for three couples or a family. That view just can't be beat!

  Thanks for your feedback. Blue Heaven just has a hot tub as well as a/c in the bedrooms only as its description and photos depict. Normally, the breezes off Ditleff Point cool the greatroom nicely... Summer is approaching quickly and we do agree that having a fully a/c'd home would make it much cooler.

We have stayed at this villa 3-4 times in last 5-6 years. It is in a great location and very reasonably priced. Confirming the report of an earlier guest, the living room furniture needs attention. The elastic supports for the sofa and chairs have reached their useful life and have been stretched to their limit. This causes a person of 150 lbs to sink right through so one is constantly trying to rearrange the straps for support. Also, the first part of the road leading to the villa is getting extremely rough and close to a whiplash experience. We are used to it but some gravel might be added if the other property owners on the road agree to participate.

  Hi Jerome, Thanks for your feedback! Blue Heaven continues to have some of the best views here on St. John. We did inform the owners about the chairs and they have fixed the strap issue along with adding more gravel to the road.

management was incredibly helpful and available. everything worked and it was very clean. you might want to add another slat or two to the sofa which sort of left you sitting on the floor. oh yeah, the driveway was challenging but then again it is st. john.. i would definitely rent it again.

Housekeeping was outstanding, maintenance person responded within an hour to an issue regarding a flakey propane valve. The property does have a few infrastructure issues, for instance the grill needs three new burners, and the propane valve mentioned above. But overall, a great week. Thanks for the beautiful weather.
