Our company features beautiful villas, customized vacations, adventures and personalized, friendly service, all solely on and around the island of St John. Owner

Angie Smith, moved to St. John from Tampa Florida over 20 years ago and has made a home on the island.  She studied hospitality at both Georgia State University and The University of the Virgin Islands where she went on to obtain a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, concentrating in marketing and advertising, graduating with honors.  She brings the knowledge of accounting, marketing, advertising and business skills to the company.  Angie loves to travel and learn about new cultures and meet new people. She likes to cook dishes from different countries such as Trinidad, India and Italy. She enjoys trying new dishes from all over the world. She is known as ‘the purple lady’ since she is in love with purple-whether it’s her purse or a room in her house, you will always see purple. Now as mother of five (!), Angie is one busy lady. She loves the beaches, the mountains and the year round summer on St. John and is proud of the consistent high level of quality and services her VIVA team provides our island visitors every day.

 

 

 

General Manager

Sherrolyn Stapleton was born right here in the Virgin Islands! She graduated from the University of the Virgin Islands with Bachelor's degrees in Marketing and Management. She started with VIVA as a Reservationist and then became Sales Manager and then quickly Assistant Manager. This Tommy Award Recipient for Hospitality Support Service Associate of the Year uses all of her dynamics- leadership, local knowledge, marketing and customer services skills. A mother of three, Sherrolyn enjoys reading, and spending time with her family. She's a Twilight fantatic and loves all shades of blue!!  As General Manager, Sherrolyn oversees the daily operations for VIVA! and managing the VIVA! Office Team.  She also oversees the VIVA portfolio of properties and works with our property owners to continually provide the best values possible to our island visitors!

 

 

Field Operations Manager

Joe Wilmott was born in Ireland, has lived in England and grew up in Boston, MA. His travels brought him to St. John and he has resided here since 2002 building and finally completing his home. Joe has an engineering background and a lifetime of experience in building. He enjoys being involved with all of the fantastic homes that VIVA manages and maintains.

Guest Services

 

 

Christine Charles, our Guest Services Manager, was born in Grenada, raised in St. Thomas and has lived on St. John for the past 15 years.  Christine has brought with her many years of experience in the St. John vacation market and an excellent reputation for top-notch customer service. Her intimate knowledge of St. John and its people helps assist our visitors find the perfect amenities and activities for their vacation. Beware – her sunny disposition is catching!  If you are searching for an in-villa masseuse, a great car rental company, a great sailboat adventure, or a hot new restaurant to try, Christine can help. She also gathers guest travel logistics information, coordinates their arrival on-island, and is ready to help throughout your on-island stay. Christine is also responsible for the greeters who meet our island visitors and orient them to the island.  Needless to say, Christine is a busy lady!

 

 

Reservationist

Alesia Georgiou grew up in New York City and has since lived and traveled all over the globe.  She loves visiting new places and learning about different cultures and cuisines. Some favorite places include Prague, Croatia, Edinburgh, and Montreal. As a theater teacher for several schools on St. John, she's always full of creative ideas and solutions. At VIVA! she enjoys introducing guests to the beauty of St. John and helping to make their dream vacations become a reality!
