We certainly enjoyed our stay. Concerns were promptly addressed (wireless internet not working upon our arrival, washer/dryer not working properly, outdoor shower could not be turned on). Plan to rent a vehicle. Taxi service to/from cottage extremely costly.
Thanks so much for your feedback. We do apologize again that we had to replace the internet modem which was damaged-thankfully, that was completed within hours of your call to us. We still are trying to decipher what's wrong with the washer/dryer-both are functioning to their capacity? We will send an appliance technician out to double check. The outdoor shower knob was tightened 'pickle jar' tight. We agree and strongly recommend that all guests rent a 4wd vehicle for their stay on-island. i still have not heard from house keeping on the charger &battery that I left in the upstairs bed room under the end table by the door.thanks for the nice stay the island is so beautiful i hope it can stay this wayGuy & connie.
Thank you so much for your feedback. It really matters to us that you took the time to respond. Chez Shell has a/c in the bedrooms upstairs and a/c in the bedrooms and living area downstairs. Additionally, the villa has 12 ceiling fans throughout. We agree that the island is beautiful-with the help of our visitors and locals alike, we can work together to preserve this beauty for generations to come! Would definitely come back if it was less expensive.

Chez Shell was fabulous. We rented for a week with my family and it surpassed our expectations. The view was stunning, the house was clean and comfortable and we had more than enough room. Also, the open layout in the upstairs was great for families.I couldn't recommend Chez Shell and St. John enough ... we hope to come back soon!

We had a wonderful St. John vacation and loved Chez Shell. It was a beautiful and charming villa and we would definitely stay there again. Rooms were spacious and it was very comfortable. Andretti, our greeter was great. She was very helpful and accommodating. The hot tub was broken and the upstairs TV had some cable issues but otherwise everything was perfect.

Everything about our stay at Chez Shell was beautiful thanks to the thought and good taste that went into furnishing the house. We didn't even miss having a pool. The management was very attentive to our needs.
The house had everything we expected for our visit to the different beaches on St John, chairs, beach towels , beach coolers and beach bags.

The view from the villa is amazing. The rooms were very roomy and can easily hold a large family or 3 couples. We had a wonderful stay. St. John is beautiful.
Pictures on the Internet do not do Chez Shell justice. Everything was EXCELLENT!!The view is awesome, the location close to town and accomodations better than a hotel. Made our honeymoon fantastic!
Very nice place, really enjoyed our time there. There was a problem with the house water pump, but a technician was sent out promptly who made the neccessary adjustments so that it would run.Otherwise no problems with the place, we really enjoyed our stay there. Very nice home and very convienent location.
