  Had a wonderful week at Reef Bay View, unbelievable view of the bay below with easy walk to a secluded beach with excellent snorkeling. Couldn't have found a more perfect place, hopefully we will be back soon!

  Amazing view! Reef Bay St John

  Christine (Property Mgr) was VERY helpful and super friendly! The Villa had an amazing view and was very private. There were a few minor issues (phone down, couple maintenance issues) but generally well-kept property. Nice new Grill. Flat screen TV. Pool. Only negative was the number of bugs. There was a bunch of tiny bugs in kitchen that were persistent, a variety of spiders and 1 scorpion! (That was a surprise!) But my 4 daughters (6, 9, 12, 15) LOVED it. We stood on the deck and saw a rainbow span from 1 end of the beach to the other - how can you beat that!?!

  The view is stunning! The house is an older house and could use some TLC. It was very disappointing that there were no chaise lounges at the pool and the hot tub is not working.

  Thanks so much for your feedback. Every guests feedback helps not only us but the homeowner as well improve the services and amenities at the homes. The hot tub is no longer an amenity at Reef Bay View and has not been an amenity at the home for quite some time. The villas amenities & description was modified over a year ago once that amenity was removed from service. We're in process of adding more loungers to the pool deck and will be also letting the homowners know about the needed imporovements to the indoor aestetics at Reef Bay View. We recently did a full house painting at the villa, improvements to the door hardware as well as other improvements... The VIVA Team

  We had a wonderful vacation and we would stay there again. We are fairly laid back and not inclined to let anything ruin our vacation so the things I mention here didn't trouble us but they might others. Some people might object to the way the house showed wear and tear. The deck is approaching needing work - painting and some rot. The laundry area was not very appealing and the oven did not work. The driveway was also challenging! Before going again - I would want to make sure the oven was working. Overall though the house suited us very well. We love that side of the island, the breeze, the fewer house and relative privacy, and hope to return again.

  You'll be happy to know that the owner visited just before your own visit and concurred with us (and you!) on needed changes. He is scheduling the replacement of the deck for this summer, and had asked us to immediately investigate a replacement oven. For the record, the oven does work, but it requires an inordinate 30-45 minutes to reach baking temperatures. We could not find a new oven, but it will be replaced as soon as possible. So, you can count on that new oven for your next visit to Reef Bay View! Update: The oven was replaced and the villa boasts a new deck!!/ Other new additions include: flat screen television, mattress pads and new linens!
